Curtis Chism, a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee, has lived a life shaped by perseverance, purpose, and the power of vision. He started working in his family’s grocery store chain at just 8 years old and by 14 was gaining hands-on experience in his father’s restaurants. These early lessons in discipline and dedication sparked a lifelong pursuit of excellence.

A proud husband and father of three daughters, Curtis went on to graduate top of his class from LeMoyne-Owen College with a degree in Business Administration and Management. Over the past 20 years, he has built a legacy of success through his work in business finance, entrepreneurship, management, and consulting along with more than 15 years of real estate, investing.

In 2008, Curtis founded Onix Restaurant, growing it into a thriving business with multiple locations generating over a million plus dollars in annual sales. His leadership and drive earned him recognition as one of the Tri-State Defender’s Men of Excellence a tribute to his vision, commitment, and impact. Also, recognition in the Memphis business journal In the Commercial Appeal. In 2020 Curtis followed his call to discipleship, self-development teacher and consulting in Los Angeles, California But for Curtis, true success is about more than numbers, it’s about purpose.
